SICAMEX is a case management system for adolescents in conflict with the law. Developed in close collaboration with Mexican authorities, SICAMEX empowers justice operators to track adolescent files, manage agreements, set reminders, record judges’ resolutions, and register measures and hearings—all within a unified platform. SICAMEX also facilitates the integration of various courts within the Tribunal de Menores Infractores del Estado de Durango (TMIDGO), fostering improved inter-institutional coordination. By generating real-time data, SICAMEX enables the measurement of the effectiveness of legal proceedings for hundreds of adolescents, fostering continuous improvement and prioritizing socio-educational measures over detention whenever feasible.
